Hey everyone, I wanted to start a place for people to post and repost about waitlist times, placement runs, and their timestamps.
It is very hard searching for all the information and maybe people will access this thread and keep it updated with information so we all can get some idea on where we stand in line for Maricopa Nursing Placement.
As for me I have a
6/11/10 8:01:32 Timestamp. The placement just ran on March 6th,2012 and I was not placed. On the application website it says that the placement did NOT reach the June timestamps. This will mark 5 semesters that I was not placed (was expecting a 3 semester wait)
I am curious how far the placement ran. If people that were placed during the last placement run (3/6/12) come across this thread and would be willing to post their timestamp and what school choice number (1 through 5) they were placed in that would give an indicator how far away it is.
With almost 2500 people still on the waiting list it looks like it can be a 4-5 year wait for people just now getting on it.

So things are looking pretty good! I received a letter today letting me know that they have opened an additional thirty seats for fall ! You never know-- we just might have a chance! We will know next Tuesday!

My time stamp was 3/29/10 around 8:00am. In the 3/6/12 placements I got my letter to start the Accelerated CGCC in May which was my first choice. I had to defer since my teaching contract ended May 25th. Word of warning, if you chose a summer start then decide to defer for the next semester (fall in my case), you better call someone at the office. They do not call the summer a semester. So in there minds, a deferment would have had me starting in January instead of August. I wasstressed out about that until I talked to someone who changed my app to state I was defering to August.
Hello everyone! I have a June 2010 date/time stamp and just got placed at CGCC for fall traditional. I got placed during the replacement run July 26th, so needless to say it's a very short notice but I am excited! Everyone else who is still waiting, hang in there! Did you get all of the Health Requirements finished. There is so much to do but if you any questions you can PM me. They had orientation in April. I dont know if they are having orientation again.
Wildcatchristie- I am new on her and not sure how to PM yet, sorry : / But in regards to your question, I have an.appointment next week to finish up health requirements. Also taking the CPR class next week. Wish I would have made it to the orientation! Will you be going to CGCC fall traditional as well? If so do you have your schedule for Block 1 yet?
hey girliephx, i tried to pm too but it wouldnt work. congrats on getting in! what was your time as part of your time/date stamp? mine is 8/13/10 so i'm trying to gauge/hope that i will get in in January and if that is realistic. Thanks!!
Thanks! They deleted my date/time stamp after I was placed so I dont remember the exact time. I wanna say around 8:14? Maybe 8:35? Lol sorry. I think you may have a good chance of getting in for Spring, depending on your school choices. Goodluck! You may even get placed during a replacement run like I did too, just be prepared to get things done quick quick!
Girlie, you can go to the CGCC class schedule and you will find the schedule. We have lecture MT 8-20:30. WTh clinical. There are optional nursing math and study skills classes on M and T. Nothing on Friday. I am in Traditional.
I dont know how to get to the class schedule... Lol but thank u so much for the info! I will be seeing u soon then? Im so excited! I will have to look for the schedule and see if I can find it.
I JUST got my acceptance letter and I too have been accepted to chandler gilbert traditional!! Thank you for the heads up with the schedule that was my next question!! :) congratz to you ! OH we will rock this !!
