The first thing I would do is meet with an advisor. I went to school out of state so I may have some different requirements than you. I had to take a mental health bridge, pharmacology and IV certification class. I also had to take the HESI PN. I have a bachelor’s degree so almost my prerequisites were done. I am taking Microbiology in the fall.
Hi Lori! I am an advanced placement LPN that just got placed. I submitted my application the beginning of May 2019 for Block 3 and was I placed 2 weeks later! I hope this is hope for you... my two co workers who were block two applicants at GWCC got placed as well! Are you willing to go to other schools?

Wow!!! You got in Fast!!!! My application is date stamped June 10th. I put three schools down. I really want the night/weekend option at GWCC, but I’d take other placement.

How long did you wait to get placed? I applied on June 10th. Same day I took my HESI PN.
Hey there! So I'm about to apply for advanced placement after I take Pharm this Summer. I'm also going to take the HESI exams also. Any advice on HESI PN? Also, I'm going to try to take the HESI Psych so I don't have to take the brdige class. Anyone here take HESI psych?? Sounds like everyone here got placed pretty quickly!

Hi everyone,
I just took my HESI PN and applied yesterday with Maricopa Nursing for advanced placement into Block 3. There isn’t a lot of info out there about getting in. Most of it is about traditional placement and I hear “oh, advanced placement is totally different, a lot.”
Anybody else who recently applied?
I am hoping to do the CEP with GCU (AAS to MSN) but I am still waiting to hear back from the advisor. I am taking Human Pathophysiology starting July 15th, 2019 and then Microbiology at GWCC in the fall 2019. I have everything else done.
Hope you hear from someone. ?
