Does anyone know anyone in the program or graduated? Every review I'm reading is negative regarding faculty and overall program online ?

I'd encourage you to reach out to the school to see if they fit what you're looking for in a program. I've talked with their faculty and all of them seem supportive. Usually quick to respond to my questions. I've had friends that attended and graduated working in independent practice. Some of it I think is mindset. I'm feel like every program has its "flaws".

Has anyone interviewed yet?

Congratulations! Hope it went well. How long until you hear back from them. Was it also students or just faculty interviewing you !

Good luck on your interview. I did email them and had positive feedback, but was a little weary after reading the reviews. I agree, every school has their flaws. I reached out to previous students but didn't hear back from any of them but happy to hear you know people who graduated and recommended the program. Thank you.

Half EI and half clinical questions!

For those who got interviews, would you mind sharing your stats?

4 years ICU and level 1 trauma for 2 of those

charge nurse and rapid response

preceptor

2 quality improvement projects

Opened a new ICU

Committee involvement

60 hours of shadowing

3 grad courses, 2 As and 1 B

ASN-BSN GPA is 3.6, prior to that was 2.8

If you haven't received an interview invite yet, don't give up hope! I assume they are still going through applications

I just got an interview invitation today, I will be interviewing on Wednesday this week. Excited and nervous for sure. Anyone that has interviewed, did they say when final decisions would be made?

My stats: 3.5 overall undergrad GPA -- 3.7 science GPA -- Nurse for 11 years between he ER and ICU but mostly ICU and a lot of different ICUs -- Several committees over the last 11 years -- preceptor -- charge nurse -- a lot of shadow hours from my previous job as a medical device rep working with anesthesia providers specifically in the OR doing case support over the course of 8 months before deciding to go back to bedside to start applying for schools.

For those that have interviewed, is there a test of some sort beforehand still?

For those who have already been interviewed, would you mind sharing how you studied for the clinical questions? And how do you feel about the clinical questions?
