  1. The interview last year was in 2 breakout sessions, one was all emotional intelligence on your basic how do you handle xyz scenarios. The other was clinical knowledge. Review your CCRN stuff, basic med math, etc. Make sure you are in good lighting for the interview and be friendly. Everyone is really nice.
  2. There were two different interviews on the same day, one for emotional intelligence, about 5 questions. Pretty basic how do you handle certain situations. The other interview is a clinical questions interview and if you have been an ICU nurse for a while you should be able to talk through scenarios if you have taken you're CCRN. If you don't know it's totally fine to say that you aren't sure but you'd love to try to talk through it if you have an idea of where to go with it. Confidently saying the wrong answer is not the way to go
  3. If I'm remembering correctly I think there were a couple rounds of interviews but I'm not 10000% certain, I think I got an interview the first wave if there were multiple...
  4. Hey Hey everyone, I am in the program now. If you get in please reach out if you have any questions. I would have been lost without the upperclassmen's advise and guidance so don't hesitate to ask questions. Good luck on your interviews!
  5. @ICUCMCC yes I got another offer that I decided to go with. Tough decision. I love Indy and it seems like a good program.
  6. @ICUCMCC I got an acceptance letter about 13 days ago but I officially declined it. Hopefully that opens a spot for someone. Good luck all!
  7. @ChasingCRNA I turned down my interview offer so hopefully that opens up a spot to someone. Good luck all!
  8. @Champagnepropofol No it doesn't. From what I understand I believe they are finalizing the cohort and then will send out an email asking if you have a preference and then move on from there. Did you get accepted too?
  9. @chialtieri I was also accepted and have connected with 2 other future students. Do you know if there is a facebook group or groupme set up yet?
  10. Agreed with @NursePinkLuv got my acceptance yesterday. If anyone else has gotten their acceptance let me know! They said that answers wouldn't go out til the end of October since they're still doing interviews but maybe they're trickling some in so don't freak out if you haven't heard yet ?
  11. Mine just says that it's been sent to the admissions committee for review still. I don't think I've seen anything change on it, unless I am looking in the wrong spot?......
