@ICUCMCC yes I got another offer that I decided to go with. Tough decision. I love Indy and it seems like a good program.

@Champagnepropofol No it doesn't. From what I understand I believe they are finalizing the cohort and then will send out an email asking if you have a preference and then move on from there. Did you get accepted too?

@chialtieri I was also accepted and have connected with 2 other future students. Do you know if there is a facebook group or groupme set up yet?

Agreed with @NursePinkLuv got my acceptance yesterday. If anyone else has gotten their acceptance let me know! They said that answers wouldn't go out til the end of October since they're still doing interviews but maybe they're trickling some in so don't freak out if you haven't heard yet ?

Mine just says that it's been sent to the admissions committee for review still. I don't think I've seen anything change on it, unless I am looking in the wrong spot?......

@RNuser6754 I believe they said the last interview is on the 30th of this month and they will have decisions out approximately 2 weeks after that, so mid October(ish)

@Julianna Graff any particular reason why you're asking that very specific question?

I haven't heard anything at all from them... Not sure what to think of that....

@nurseveteran Correct, they said currently they are >900 and the application has another few months that it will be open therefore they are anticipating >1000 applications. They strongly emphasized the essay questions (if you've submitted already then you can't change them) but for those that haven't submitted, answer the questions very thoughtfully. They want to see resilience and ability to overcome challenges. They also talked about how much they loved re-applicants for those that don't get in this year and want to try again next year. Also there is an in person only open house on October 25th they said is good to attend to get your face out there if you are local or want to fly in. IDK if the slots will all be filled by then at this rate but just sharing the info that was said.

The info session is an open Q&A format with one of the admissions counselor. Per the counselor, a "hold" is not a denial. They will continue to look at the application as the weeks progress but they are seeing what other applications come in. So it's not a hard no. Also she stated that if anything changes with your application to make sure you are updating it in NursingCAS which may increase your odds of being considered. Also she stated that there are >1000 applications submitted and 52 seats (42 for Chicago and 10 for Colorado)..... Good luck everyone ?

@NICUDreamCatcher I got the initial email after submitting to NursingCAS saying my application was under review. Never got a Kira invite. This morning I got the letter saying that my application was on hold. The schools website had an information session that is scheduled for today that I had already signed up for so I am going to still attend that. It starts in 28 minutes via zoom.

Got that email today as well, still going to the info session that's about to start. Maybe there will be more information there?....
