Do you think that your teas score, being a 70% factor in your selection process, is a good determinant of your acceptance to the nursing prgram?

Since it makes up 70% of the selection process, that would be a fair assumption. How did you do?!
I think that our GPA should represent more than our teas scores because getting a good GPA takes a lot of effort and time, and it should represent much of college work material that is necessary knowledge during nursing education. On the other hand, our teas score shows our performance in general Reading, English, Math, and Science, though the science part requires some anatomy knowledge.

There's a reason as to why the TEAS is so important for admissions. They use that exam to see how well you can retain the information that you've learned in your prerequisites. In the MANE program, you must retain information throughout the program, and the TEAS test predicts how well you will retain the information. Also, they want to make sure that nursing students are good test takers. The TEAS really isn't a difficult exam. If you have a competitive GPA, you only need a 75+ to get in.
"You only need a 75+ to get in," you say? I'll take your word on that!
So they want to see our ability to retain information that we learned in our perquisites...
Thanks

75+ if you have a 3.5 GPA or above, and you'll be fine. 11.0 composite. Try applying at more than one school, you'll have better chances that way.

That's not entirely true, unfortunately. At my school, ihcc, the lowest score was 11.2. You need to be in the "best" 50 applying. I would guess that it'd be similar to F14 scores, but slightly higher with people understanding what's going on and getting tips from those how got in already.
