Anyone applying to the City Colleges of Chicago Fall 2022 RN or PN programs? Thought I'd start a thread. Just curious on people's thoughts on applying to both RN/PN programs? Has anyone ever heard of someone getting accepted into both RN and PN and they being able to choose between the two? Is it even possible to be accepted into both?

I feel like they've never extended the deadline so I'm wondering why. I was thinking of calling sometime this week and asking why LOL

A little annoyed, I was going to apply for the IDPH scholarship but the deadline is in May and requires acceptance to a program. 
 

but makes me think they don’t have a ton of applicants which hopefully bodes well for us. 

Sorry about the scholarship. That could be true about the number of applicants. Hopefully it's a good sign for us all. What's another 5 plus weeks of anxiety? ?

I think I've seen them extend it previously, on this site. I don't recall which year/term it was thou.

If anyone has any type of update on their application, please let the group know. I am now confused by the second email that was just sent.

I think they mean you have until June to submit your items, but if you have already done so they are working on applications now. I called today and the lady told me decisions should come out in the first week of May. But I’m hoping they can say something this week.

Nope, but I just got an email that they'll let us know soon.

Guessing no one heard anything last week? My application still has incompletes.

Specializes in LPN.

Still haven't heard anything and incompletes for medical documents and accumulative GPA. I did ask one of the directors if I would be disqualified by not having my titers done on time and they said no it wouldn't matter as long as I have a future date to submit in castle branch. I still have to get my second Varicella titer done by 06/11.
