Anyone applying to the City Colleges of Chicago Fall 2022 RN or PN programs? Thought I'd start a thread. Just curious on people's thoughts on applying to both RN/PN programs? Has anyone ever heard of someone getting accepted into both RN and PN and they being able to choose between the two? Is it even possible to be accepted into both?

I wasn’t sure if the email about more seats meant for the TEAS or for the program. But I do think they only sent it to people who didn’t have all of their requirements done. I’m feeling super anxious too, because I had to get a few repeat vaccines my repeat titers won’t be done until after the deadline. 
Hopefully just a few more weeks to hear a decision! I know last Spring they sent out acceptances really early. 

I read that as well. Some people got their acceptance in March. Hopefully we'll know soon?

Hi guys! I applied to both programs and my PNC app says in progress while my RN app still has documents incomplete for some reason. I know last Spring they were giving decisions in March but I guess they aren’t doing that this time.

My medical documents were finally marked as complete so they are slowly working on it. I may put a last minute application in for the PN program. Did you have to upload documents to castlebranch twice or just once for both programs? Fingers crossed we hear something soon.

Is anyone else's admissions cumulative GPA still say incomplete? I am wondering when they will update this.

Same. My advisor said they're working on it. But doesn't hurt to email them about it.

Specializes in LPN.

I only applied to RN because I did not have all pre-reqs for PN. I finished all requirements in castle branch but have to get a second titer done for the chicken pox vaccine. I hope that doesn't effect me getting accepted. I have a good GPA and scored above required in the Tea's exam.

Anyone have any news? My background check, medical documents, and admissions GPA are still listed as incomplete. I e-mailed someone right before Spring break with a question and didn’t get an answer. Getting reeeeallll anxious over here!!

A little annoyed, I was going to apply for the IDPH scholarship but the deadline is in May and requires acceptance to a program. 
 

but makes me think they don’t have a ton of applicants which hopefully bodes well for us.
