Hello everyone!!! Just submitted my application, have taken my HESI, all prerequisites are finished, now the waiting game begins. I was looking for people who were also on this journey.
Im pretty sure they are pulling our leg guys. I read all the threads from previous years and they all said they got different responses. You guys are saying you called yesterday and they sent them out the day before (today is thursday so that would have been tuesday) I called this morning around 11 and they also told me "oh the letters were sent out yesterday" which would have been Wednesday. I think thats their go-to answer. Im so nervous and really hope we get them this week!

That would be so mean!!!
Ok I'm very confused right now. If someone could help me out here I'd greatly appreciate it. So, according to the ranking letter and the nursing requirement packet, the hesi score IS the composite score. Who came up with this gpa×25÷2+hesi÷2 equation? Lol Does anyone know 100% how they rank people? Just based off our hesi score, or what? So confused now.

Ok, from what I understand 50% is based off of your gpa from the 4 required classes, and 50% is the HESI score. They come up with a composite score based on those two things.
For example, My gpa is 3.92 and my HESI score was 93. So here is how the math would go.
3.92 Divided by 4= 0.98
Then I would take 98 and add it to my HESI score
98+93=191 Then you divide that by 2 and you get your composite score.
191 divided by 2=95.5 So my composite score would be 95.5

The HESI score is a composite of the HESI scores of A&P, English, Vocab, math, and reading. Now the HESI composite divided by two plus the GPA times 25 divided by 2 is your composite score for ranking. The HESI composite and the ranking composite are two separate numbers!

How did you guys know this calculation?
