Well, another year means another time for more score updates. I am getting ready to take my HESI in a couple weeks to apply for the 2012 Nursing Program and I must say I am really beginning to get nervous! Thanks to their recent addition of HHSC-1040 (right before I was apply ) I am just curious how everyone did, and what was it like this year? I have no clue what to expect and I have been searching forever. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am really not worried about the Math or Grammar sections. I'm more worried about the Vocabulary, Reading, and A&P section that they added. Any advice would be great. I already have the Evolve HESI book that I have been reviewing from for the past couple of months. I'm still just really nervous.
I don't have a HESI score yet, but my GPA to apply for the program is: 3.925.
Again, any advice would be grand!
Did you actually get them? Or did you hear by word of mouth? Also, any idea how much all the books are? And if I'm better off getting them from the bookstore (easier) or the bookmark (cheaper)?
I went there today and got them. It's a huge stack of papers. I also bought my books today. I only bought the ones I knew we were going to use from someone else in the program and my total was $578.00 :/ This was buying books only, not the lab supplies, etc. I never did check Bookmark because I wasn't sure if the bundles you could only get at MCC Bookstore. They always seems around the same in price anyways, at least for new books. I've had a heck of a time finding a used book for any class lately!
Just FYI the bookstore is closing Dec 21 - Jan 2 for the holiday.
Hi Jan starts!!!Has anyone recieved their physical forms? I got the one info packet. Also when turning in your paperwork what do we need to show our immunizations? Thanks
Hi! Yes, I got everything about a month ago. There was a form you had to turn into the nursing office with a space to have all of the immunizations filled in. Did you not receive anything? Everything was due into the nursing office last Friday the 7th.

FYI for January starts - we can pick up our class syllabus now. I know the letter said two weeks before the start of class but I know the office will be on limited hours after the fall semester ends so you may want to go soon :)
