Well, another year means another time for more score updates. I am getting ready to take my HESI in a couple weeks to apply for the 2012 Nursing Program and I must say I am really beginning to get nervous! Thanks to their recent addition of HHSC-1040 (right before I was apply ) I am just curious how everyone did, and what was it like this year? I have no clue what to expect and I have been searching forever. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am really not worried about the Math or Grammar sections. I'm more worried about the Vocabulary, Reading, and A&P section that they added. Any advice would be great. I already have the Evolve HESI book that I have been reviewing from for the past couple of months. I'm still just really nervous.
I don't have a HESI score yet, but my GPA to apply for the program is: 3.925.
Again, any advice would be grand!
Just an FYI for January starts, I emailed ------------- and she said that we will be getting our physical forms, etc next month. And that we won't be getting our class schedules until the semester ends so not till right before Christmas. I really wish we could get the stuff sooner, I need to set up some child care for my kids so it would be nice to know the days/times before the schools close for winter break
Thank you for the update...I know its gonna be crazy with school starting like right after the holidays...I have a question, I was wondering what the lastest class goes to? I mean, how late can I expect to be at school or a clinical? I working on setting up a job (still have to find one lol) part time and figured I cld say I am able to work 6pm and later. I am sooooo excited and yet soooo very nervous. Any more updates from people that have already started? :)
how does registration work? registration opens in two weeks and i havent heard anything....
According to the nursing secretary, she said we won't get our schedules until after the semester is over (mid December) and that nursing classes only registration is like January 3rd or somewhere around there.
I have yet another silly question.. I start in Jan and just got the letter from MCC, asking if people currently work in hospitals, or weekend prefrences, does that mean clinicals can be done on weekends?
I called ------------ about that letter we recieved and she said that they have some accomodations for those who need Saturdays due to special accomodations. She also said that it is not always available for every semester. I think that the first semester have some flexibility but the other semester has two full days of clinicals which is not usually available on a Saturday.
