I know MA is not the same as LPN but I wanted to know if it helped you AT ALL in LPN school. Did you feel more at ease? Like, "Ok I can do this, it isn't a foreign language at least I've seen SOME of this before...." I'm just wondering if it helped you transition and mayb ehelped you not be in the dark.

I was a cna prior to becoming an LPN and it helped me with clinical, time management, vital signs, and some parts of nursing fundamentals. The MAs in my class said it helped them with vital signs and that was about it.

The MA helped me in nursing school as far as medical terminology and vital signs were concerned, but that's about it. The LPN program was more in-depth than the MA program. Comparing the two types of training would be like comparing apples to oranges.
Im really nervous. In my interview they almost seemed like they are trying to scare you off. I know its vigorous, but they make it sound nearly impossible.
