LVN Wharton FALL 2020 Applicants

I recently applied to the LVN program in Wharton County Junior College and just wanted to see if there are other applicants out there who I could reach out to. I haven't found anyone in my area that I know who applied. Acceptance letters come out next month ! Countdown begins! If there is anyone out here that finished their LVN program at Wharton could you please give me pointers or tips on how to be successful in the program. THANKS

I'm so excited! I'm trying to apply too now that the deadline has been extended, I wish you all the luck and I hope you get in! Do you mind sharing with me where to send your application ?

I didn't know they extended the deadline..where did you hear that information from? I thought they only extended certain programs I never got a email saying they extended the deadline. And when I applied you have to go to mail your forms to main campus in Wharton Tx

I email ****** and she told me the acceptance letters wipp be emailed the 1st week of may. And yes the deadline was changed to today (4/13) it's on the LVN Wharton page online.

Thanks guys I wish you all the best! I submitted mine last Friday I was just worried that if they extended the deadline then they might have switched the mailing address too. Good luck everyone! Y'all nervous too?

I emailed her as well and she told me the same thing. I was bummed that they are not accepting more students its only about 45 they accept. I thought they would have more people being accepted especially because they extended the deadline.

Very nervous I submitted my application weeks ago and I've been nervous this whole time. I'm ready to start my career in nursing and hopefully I can start it in August with hopefully all of you...SO EXCITED

Oh WOW! I had no idea it was only 45 students they accepted..that makes me sort of nervous, my GPA isn't the best, but I think I did decent on the TEAS?

I'm the opposite my GPA is better then my TEAS score but I have finished all my prequites for nursing I'm in my last Semester of regular classes so hopefully me having all those classes help and I'm also a CNA as well I worked as a CNA for about 4 months
