I was wondering what the instruction and curriculum is like in an LVN program vs. ADN. I am considering nursing and I'm not the biggest fan of pathophysiology and critical care but would like to focus more on hands on skills. The course titles in the LVN program and ADN are all the same, so I'm not sure. I already have my prereqs done so I'm not concerned about that. Is the LVN more hands on skills and less deeper knowledge about disease processes?
Or am I just fooling myself and both are the 90% the same except one leads to an RN instead of LVN?
Thanks
