I had a friend about 3-4 yrs ago who had applied 2x and hadn't been admitted, yet.
Some things have changed recently so that GPA and test scores and experience are partially weighted into the RN applications, which caused some people to get in sooner.
(Her experience helped me determine that I would attend a private accelerated Lvn program if given the chance)
I'm assuming the same has occurred for LVN apps, though I'm not sure.
In my Lvn to rn bridge at the "sister college" in the area, we have only 1/9 of us who attended community college for our Lvn.
I'm not trying to be discouraging, just providing info.
Good luck to you!!! I hope you get in on your 1st try!
I applied, it's my first time applying. I should find out if I get next month. Your GPA doesn't increase your chances of getting in, like it does with the RN program.
You appear to be correct. I just did a Google search on the SCC website. Thank you for providing correct info.
I wish I knew how many people applied, when I dropped my application off I saw that 80 people had dropped their application off before me, but that doesn't count who mailed it in. It's my first time applying, so I'll be lucky if I get in. If I don't get in I'm applying to the LVN program at Napa Valley College. I do hope I get in at Sac City though. í ½í¸Š

I just wanted to know if anyone else is applying to the lvn program at sacramento city College for the spring cohort 2017? Wanted to know how many times you had to apply to get in or if your still waiting? It's my first time applying and I'm super nevous. also does ur GPA effect getting in at all or better improve your chances for it? I have a good GPA and am trying to be hopeful here but can't stop freaking myself out.
