Lvn to RN transition Weatherford college Summer 2022

Hey all! I just applied to Weatherford college Summer transition program to RN and was just seeing if anyone else on here has applied. ?

I know. They said they would email. My friend applied to wise county in August and she didn't hear back till October.

Oh goodness. I guess that would be what March for us.

Has anyone heard anything? I was going through another forum from the RN program applicants and it looks like they heard back about 4 weeks after she asked for the excel sheet. I’m hoping beginning of March ??

Nothing yet. I hope we hear something back before Spring break.

So on the WC WEBSITE they extended their deadline for Summer transition start.... it was from November to February. Now it's from November to April 1st 2022.....

Applications to the LVN - RN Transition Nursing program are accepted the first business day of November through the April 1, 2022 each year for the class beginning in the Summer. 

 

That was on their website, in the application requirements for the lvn to RN.

I wonder if the new deadline is for this program or for the next group? 
 

I emailed and they told me acceptance/ denial letters would be sent out 8-10 weeks from application deadline

I emailed them today and she said 

 

"

Yes the deadline was extended by the college, and yes the acceptance notifications will also be extended."

That was from the secretary

I wonder if there weren’t enough applicants? Like why extend it?
