Hello! Is there anyone applying to the LVN TO RN Program in Lonestar college for Summer 2017?

Do we need to fill out any paperwork for a blue card?

Nurse_15 What school were you admitted to? I think the School processes the card part no we just wait for it in the mail except of course your case is complicated as it outlines on the email..

I think the school submits our names to BON then when your Background Check clears in Castle Branch TX BON will send it in the mail then we upload it to Castle Branch.

Will do. It took a few days if I remember clearly from being an alternate at Kingwood last year. I have one but don't know if I'll get one through North Harris. I sent an email to the nursing department but haven't had a response yet.

Yeah North Harris will probably send your name again because it's a different admission session..

One more question.... Has anyone started on their Fast Pass?

What is fast pass?

The fingerprinting and Background checks.... does that have anything to do with the blue card? Its a little confusing.

No! The fingerprint and background check is done by castle branch..You sign up and pay and follow the prompts..The state board of nursing does a background check on their own( I assume to check your nursing record for any deficiencies) and after they clear you,they will then mail the blue card directly to your home.. Let me know if you still have questions because it can be confusing...

Im sorry but I'm so confused. On our acceptance letter #4 says *Texas Board of Nursing Fast Pass. DO NOT start this process until you receive an email from the LSC-NH nursing department. Fingerprinting and Background checks- Cost 45. So i dont know if I can start it because i havent received anything from NH
