LVN to RN

I am from the bay area.. i was wondering how much are the lvn to rn program here.. cuz the school im gonna go to said its 44000... is it really that expensive? and how long is it usually.. this one said its 8 months..

no no no, there are more programs that are bridge LVN-RN that dont cost that much! I thought about doing that route but changed my mind cause thats how I did my LVN and with interest Im paying around close to $30k, I dont like that idea, but the straight RN programs out here have a long wait list and most are by lottery although I have heard they may change that and go back to doing priority points which I think is the best way to go anyway (means they calculate your GPA plus working exp. and total points gives you number, higher number gets into program) just google it, the one Im applying to next Jan09 is around 7-8,000. Besides there isnt much difference with the time... average bridge LVN_RN is 8-12mths. good luck ...
