Hi everyone, Im new here and im a bit confuse, hopefully you guys will help me out. Im starting my LVN program in July at NCP in Hayward, CA but I REALLY want to be a RN so my question is, after being getting my LVN license do need to take the pre-reqs to do RN or can I do the LVN to RN at ISU w/o the pre-req classes. PLease let me know so i can get the classes out of the way now, because the pre-req class is ENDLESS!
Thank you very MUCH!

If the prerequisite classes aren't being included in your LVN program (which they probably aren't), you will need to take them prior to starting the nursing courses at ISU's online RN program. Good luck to you.

Hi,
Much of it will depend on the school. I went to a CC and most all my pre-reqs were the same as the ones I already had from the LPN program. I think I had to add statistics, another english and a humanities. Once I realized I wanted to continue I started taking them while in LPN school so that shortened my wait but in any event just get started and do it!

Hi lily123,
I'm looking into the LVN program at NCP this coming July too and I was just wondering what the tuition cost is right now? &how is their financing or payment plans? Unitek was an option but I couldn't get the loan for it. Also did they mention if they were close to filling all their spots? Any info would help. Thanks in advance!
