It really depends on the program which you apply for. For example, one college may ask for a 2.5 minimum GPA in just science or prerequisties. Another program may ask for a 2.5 for both the sciences or prerequisites AND a 2.5 in all of college coursework or your your overall cumulative college GPA.
Another example., one program may require Pharmacology or Pathophysiology another will not have such requirement.
Also keep in mind that if your an LVN, some programs require you have anwhere from 6 months to 1 year of LVN work experience.
Check out the programs listed on the California BON website which have an LVN checkbox:

Hope this helps! Good luck!

I am an LVN who pretty much has all their Pre-Reqs done. Just need to do Sociology, Nutrition & maybe Pysh class. But I am trying to put together a list of schools that offer the 30unit option or just LVN to bridge. I am looking at all schools, Community, Private, UC, Cals ect. ect. If anyone can help with this list and then maybe we can make it a Sticky for all Cali people.
Also another concern I have is my GPA, my younger days I killed myself so I have like a 2.3gpa but in all my Sciences, O-Chem, Chem, Anat, Physio, Physics ect. I have a 3.0. Do they take that into consideration you think???????????
