lvn program

Published

Hi all,

please i'm totally new to Nursing profession, i'm doing my CNA training at the moment and i live in Dallas here in Texas. I intend starting my LVN program immediately but i learnt that El Centro and Brookhaven have waiting list. I discovered an Institute in Dallas here - Dallas Nursing Institute - $18,500, they have Financial aid but my major concern is that their Brochure reads that "their credit transfer is limited" i learnt that their credit are not acceptable in the colleges, so i'm confused.

I don't want to take Loan and only to discover that i have to start all over to do my RN.

Please, i need a candid advice here.

Thanks.

Dallas Nursing Institute is state-approved, but not regionally accredited. If you attend an LVN program that is not regionally accredited, you'll need to take certain prerequisite classes and attain TSI exemption before applying to RN programs in the area.

Thanks so much, so could you please give me list of Regionally Accredited schools here in Dallas?

thanks

Look to your community colleges. The trade schools are typically not going to have the regional accreditation.
