LVN Progams in Ca.

Nurses LPN/LVN

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows of any LVN Programs in the Agoura Hills Ca. area? I know there is one in Van Nuys, so if someone has attended that school I would love to hear about your experience. Thank You.

I'm originally from Ventura County, and I am not aware of any LVN programs located in the Agoura Hills area. However, there's an LVN program further south in Reseda, but the name eludes me at this moment.

I attended Casa Loma College in Van Nuys. The program served its purpose: I completed the schooling, got obtained my LVN licensure, and am now working as an LVN. It was very pricey at $20,000, but I paid for the convenience of avoiding prereqs, waiting lists, etc. Some of the instructors left something to be desired IMHO.

Thanks Commuter,

I have been thinking about this for over a year! I am not getting any younger and would really love to get ino a program. I feel the same way you did regarding the wait lists and pre-req's. I guess Casa Loma College is pretty good because it is still there. I just can't get over how much the programs cost these days.

Did it take you long to pay off your loan? Do you feel it was worth it??? I hope I am not getting to personal. Thanks for your reply.

It only took slightly over 2 years to pay off the 10-year loan, but keep in mind that my financial situation is more flexible than most. It was worth it, overall.

When I posted on this thread 8 months ago, I provided the exact same link to the California BVNPT's list as you! :)

Keep in mind that this discussion is nearly 1 year old, and the person who originally asked the question probably received an answer quite a long time ago.
