LVN nclex passed job question?

Hey everyone! So I'm waiting for my LVN license to come in the mail. I am located in Southern California and I wanted to know if I can start applying for jobs at nursing homes. Is this possible with no license? Or will I have to wait for the licenst to come in the mail? Thanks!

Im just waiting for my license too, I have applied in several nursing homes, home health they want to see your proof that you passed like your NCLEX result and I have also applied through the internet. One called me but they wanted 1 year experience at least.

Yeah that's why I want to start applying asap. Did u apply in California? Thanks for the info! I will try to apply soon with my nclex result!

Yes I am in California. I applied 2 days after I received mine. Brought my result with me but just hard to get hired specially newly grads like us with not much of experience yet, but I just keep on applying hoping a company or facility will give a chance to us new passers.
