LVN/ LPN My NCLEX Tips ( HOw I Passed Little Info )

I used only these 3 books, thats it. And it helped me a lot.

1. Kaplan 2010

2. Exam Cram Practice Questions 2nd edition

3. Made Incredibly Easy 3rd edition

After read Kaplan book , I learned tat which pt Nurse gonna see first....

Kaplan book just cover 3 or 4 major things only. Like how to crack the answer only strategety.

Kaplan Book has worst rational explanation. I learned nothing.

Next Exam cram book . It has 1000 nclex style random questions. from the book i got word to word 5 questions on my NCLEX exam.

Next Made Incredibly Easy . It has 3000 questions. I really liked it, because in this book once they talk abt any disease then they ask atleast 10 questions abt same disease, not like randomly questions. So u can understand very well. ( For example if they ask u Sudden infant death syndrome question then first 10 question is only gonna be Sudden infant death syndrome ) Not like one question asking diabetes and next pregnancy,no

I did not study saunders at all. Becuase saunder has lot of info which is very hard to remeber everything... And i always want to use shortkut, After read lot of students comments, i found mostly people used those 3 books that i mentions above.

I just read saunder book page 199 to 201 only 2 pages to see pt position thats it....

U must have review book only for reference ( If u dont know any disease then go and look in review book ) but do lot of questions from cd or book......the more u do questions then more u will be able to crack answer.. Before u take axam i ll highly recommed do atleast 3000 to 4000 question. Then u will develop ability to crack the answer.

Thats all i did and i passed.

Now here is my real point for all those who is going to take exam soon

before exam day dont try to watch tv No pc No laptop becuase this all thing will pull your eyes energy so u really need to give your eyes full one day break,,,,,,,,

If u dont do this thing then when u taking real exam, by the 100 question u start gonna loose focus becuase ur eyes gona tired.........................and u will probably guess everything so u could go home and sleep

Also week before test u need to sit on ur laptop on ur pc everyday atlest 4 hours and do questions,,,,,,so ur eyes are ready when u take final exam............

When u take ur real exam dont loose focus and dont think that o men all people are going and i m the only one here,,,,,,who care they are not ur relative or ur love one.......

read each question 2 to 3 time. If u start loosing ur focus then think in mind,,,,,this is not local test. this test is going to change my life. Think abt ur kids,,ur husbad,,ur wife,,,ur home,,ur loan,,,,,ur car bills,,,,

u will be back to right track......

another tip

remember in exam, easy to easy question they make hard......i mean when u read question without looking options u know the answer but when u look options ur answer is not there and choices arre similer...it will confuse u

i mean 4 choices u can eliminate 1 or 2 but sometimes all 3 choices look good......so read each question lot of time.......and dont hold the mouse

because its like butter if u click thats it.......so move ur hand from mouse

when u sure abt answer than hold and click next.......

i m happy those who passed exam on first time..but i always think to myself..that passing my second time will make me better.. i will value my job more than the ones who passed the first time, because i know what it feel like to be a failure... we all will be pn and then we will be able to celebrate as the others . then we will be able to write our success story on how we passed and help others who are also struggling through this exam...

so now i can say my time is now.

those students who failed exam multiple times and are really depressed tip

remember ---------god did not bring you throught nursing school, if he didnt want u to be one.

one of the pastor joel osteen, says every time

today is friday for you. but dont forget, that sunday is coming too....

its means things are not favouring u at this time, u r not passing ur exam and you are really depressed so friday is going for u.

but soon u will pass this exam and become proudly nusre,because dont forget that sunday is coming too.

i had full faith in god. thats how i reached to my sunday..... and u all will be too
