it gonna be 15 months full time courses
do u think it worth it!!!????
the email i sent you is for ETI i am sorry because classes will be at mid city college...
you know i am feeling bored of staying home i do want to start something especially because classes will be every saturday only, so if my husband accept to watch my baby every saturday maybe i will do it
i just want to start smthg!!! you know after giving birth i feel that like if i am going back...i wanna go steps ahead !!!
just be careful jumping in to something!!!
thats what I did with Kaplan and later I realized what a HUGE mistake that was. PLEASE take the time to call Grossmont Health Occ. I gave you the number. Ask about thier CNA program, LVN program and grants that they offer. You really do not want to waste your time doing the Clinical Med Assisitant or waste your money at Kaplan.
Good Luck!!
Hi Imanda2000,
I called grossmont occ this morning and i checked their website...prices are very low !! thats super
when i called them, the agent asked if i already done healthcare essentials...she said i should do Healthcare essentials for 20 weeks then i can do CNA which is 5 months class...
after that i can do Vocational nurse 2990 $ for one year and half
she said that classes will start next August and i need to call her by June to register and pass tests :)
Exactly! YAY!
You need to sign up for Heathcare Essentials ASAP! Its really pretty easy and interesting.
You will also have t0o take the TEAS test and your score on it will determine if yo get in!
It is just a high school equivalency examine so dont worry too much. You can buy study guides for it also!
Keep me posted!
I went to Concorde Career College back in 2004-2005 and paid alot of money for LVN program, at that time I needed to get into a program fast and community college took too long and I needed to make $$ soon. I had compared the cost to Maric now Kaplan and Concorde was cheaper and their passing score for nclex was higher than Kaplan. I paid around $20,000, still 5 years later still owe alot of money but in the end it was worth it for me and my family.
