WGU has an LVN to BSN program with clinical placements at Cedars-Sinai. Online University | Online Degree | Accredited Bachelor's and Master's Degrees Their next cohort starts in September.
Prerequisite and corequisite courses can be completed in community colleges and transferred in. The nursing courses are mixed format to the best of my knowledge, as are many other programs nowadays. I think the closest to brick and mortar is Mt. St. Mary's, but as you know, that is downtown. The CSU programs, such as CSUN, are very difficult to get into.
Hi RHJS, which schoold did you go for the LVN program?
Also, you could apply to Glendale Community College, PCC, and Moorpark College for the LVN-RN bridge program. For Moorpark College, as far as i know in 2009 they had taken 15 LVNs. So you should be able to apply to all the schools to be on safer side.

Hi. I just passed the NCLEX and was wondering about going back to school to get my RN/BSN.
Does a LVN to BSN bridge program even exist in my area? I have heard of Westcoast University but they only offer a BSN and a LVN to RN bridge program. I was wondering because if a LVN to BSN program exists I would rather go to that than the RN program. Also, are pre-reqs required?
Thanks
