LVN Being used It's already starting

Got offered job in homehealth at $25 hour I have not signed offer letter or paperwork yet or had physical.

It's already starting I received a call and Just as I'd figured as one of the ONLY LVN's got a call asking me to work mon-thur take fri off then work the weekend I really think I should asks for a higher salary if their gonna use me like this. I'm so done with being taken advantage of:devil:

I don't see where offering you work is 'using' you. After all you did apply for a job. There are scores of nurses in your area who would thank their lucky stars to be working those days. If you don't want the job, then tell them so. Another nurse will scarf it up in a heartbeat.

how is this taking advantage of you? that's a normal schedule and an above average starting salary.

The original job posting stated from 8:30 to 5 mon-fri and slowly they are say oh hey by the way can you and oh we had a meeting and were gonna have you take a day off every other week to alternate weekends I applied for the job as it did not state weekends I have a family member on hospice I would like to spend some time with ... just saying

Well I guess it does help to speak up Got promoted to team lead whooo hoo I took on a few more assignments so I don't have to work the weekends
