LVN Bay Area job market & NCP college of nursing

Published

Hi everyone! Any graduates of ncp college of nursing (lvn program) here? How was the job market after graduating? (Bay area) how long did I take for you to find a job and what are you guys currently doing? Any info on the school is also appreciated.

I'm doing pre nursing at CSUEB but want to become an lvn first. However since I have heard the job market for new grad nurses is tough I am a little nervous to invest in NCP.

The job market as an LVN or RN is tough anywhere. I'm from the Bay Area and received my license recently. I was lucky enough to find a job two months after passing my boards. But I was obsessively looking for jobs and putting out resume and cover letters like crazy.

(Sorry for the late reply) congrats!! It is a little discouraging to hear about the job market for nurses but the fact you got a job means it can be done!

Just google LVN jobs in the Bay Area. There are approx 1200 jobs for LVNs at this moment.

You have SF, SJ and the East Bay.

Tons of jobs in the Bay Area for LVNs, out patient clinics, plastic surgery offices, home care, hospice, wound care clinics, memory care, assisted living, even several acute care facilities. It always astonishes me when people say there are no jobs! Remember your reality is not their reality!
