hi! I am a PH RN migrating to California next month. i would like to ask for help to what to start first. Since I have problems with the concurrency issue, I still would like to take the chance of applying for NCLEX-RN since i have checked that all my documents are concurrent. In addition to that, I have heard from a friend that someone as my case was allowed to seat in NCLEX-RN, it's just that she defended herself a lot. I would like to try my fate and I would like to ask for advices too. If not, then I would like to know how to become an LVN instead. Thanks in advance!
Google CA BON (California board of nursing)
They should list all the requirements to get ATT (authorization to test). When you meet all the requirements, CA BON will give you ATT. Then you can register to test for NCLEX. Don't pay to test before receive your ATT.
I don't know the whole process for foreign graduate. Most documents were sent by my school. All I had to do was get my finger print done. I'm in MI but I believe the process would be similar but may vary by state.
