Good news all........I just received letter that I was accepted into Aug 08 program at Lutheran School of nursing. I am really excited. I am currently/have been looking for positions in hospitals I have a BS in Community Health, and a medical assistant degree diploma but neither one I have not used. I will be doing volunteer work at Barnes Jewish/MO Baptist Hospital.......I am an older, nontraditional student.

When did you apply for the program?
How long did it take for them to respond to you?
I applied earlier this year around March or so. I just received letter last week. I had to get all paperwork in and that took me a while because i had to get some recommendations...etc.

Congrats on your acceptance. Lutheran School of Nursing has an excellent program. I graduated from there Nov, 2005 and began the program as a 48 year old non-traditional student.

Hi! I will be going to the Lutheran open house on Tuesday, I was just wondering how you liked going to school there. I am a pre nursing student and I am still trying to find a place that I will like. I would love to have some first hand info on this school..Thanks a bunch

I applied to Lutheran and won't find out if I'm accepted until March of 2011. Can any of you tell me what are the chances I will get accepted? I don't want to sit around and end up not getting accepted.
why do you have to wait so long?
Nikky, I recommend you apply to more than one program since it is going to take so long to find out if you are accepted. Lutheran's program is excellent, but it is always better to have additional options.
