Hi Everyone,

I started this topic to connect with others that have applied for the LPCHS nurse residency Summer 2023. ? 

I got an interview for OB/Maternity! What is everybody doing to prepare? Are you guys just as nervous as me?

so I noticed the thread for the Summer cohort isn't as active as the one for the Spring cohort. I wonder if that means less people have applied for Summer? or maybe some people already got jobs elsewhere?

Does anybody know if labor and delivery is different that maternity/antepartum?  Are there 2 separate interview groups?

Hi everyone! I just found this forum and was wondering if anyone knows how many candidates are each of the peds acute care units are taking.

I noticed that too! maybe its because either less people have applied or people for this cohort don't know about this forum. I just found this forum yesterday LOL

Did anybody have a second interview yet? I have mine tomorrow and was wondering what kind of format it is?  Is it more one on one?  What kinds of questions?

based on what I have heard from previous cohorts, they accept 1-4 people on average per unit, but I am sure it varies

what unit are you interviewing for?

also I was wondering how soon should we expect to hear back from them after the interview?

Im interviewing for OB.  I think we find out next week if we got it or not.  Have you had your second interview yet?

I believe we're supposed to hear back on Monday! That's what it says on the website. People who interviewed earlier in this week could possibly hear back by the end of this week :) Goodluck to everyone!
