Hi Everyone,

I started this topic to connect with others that have applied for the LPCHS nurse residency Summer 2023. ?

I got an interview for OB (Maternity/L&D)! Honestly can NOT believe this! Very excited. I don't even remember when I applied honestly! It's been quite the journey! 

What is everyone doing to prep?  Does anyone have example questions from past cohorts?

Also - I didn't think I would be hearing back, and accepted a job, and have worked. I know that this program requires NO paid experience by the program start. What do I do? Is anyone else in this predicament?

I might be giving up my interview spot because I may have already gotten a job offer in the unit I really want, so keep your head if you haven't gotten an interview?

Hi! Congratulations on your interview!! Did you get this via email or phone call?

 

Also, I recommend letting them know about your previous job experience just in case!! Maybe if it's been less than 6 months they'll be OK with it ?

I agree! Honesty is the best policy!

I got the interview invite via email! There was a link to choose the interview time, and some info on how the interview will go.
