I have been a LTC nurse for almost 15 years- I love my job- the residents are for the most part wonderful- I get christmas cards from some family members of those residents, the management is ok... So- my question for other 10+ year veteran nurses of LTC who love your job is this: If you HAD to choose another specialty what would it be? I am an LPN in a small rural town and my "dream" job would be a RN in a trauma center. I dont know that I could truly do that- I just find it very interesting!!
I've been in LTC are an aide and LPN for 9 years. I graduate from RN school in December and I'm hoping to get into Labor and Delivery. Time for something totally different!
