LTC nurses needed for online research study

Licensed health professionals are needed to test an on-line training program designed to help care providers work with long-term care facility residents who may have a mental illness. Your input is important!

This study is funded by the National Institute of Aging.

You will be compensated $175 for completing all study activities (surveys and viewing the online training program) over an 8-week period.

Participant activities include:

  • Agree to informed consent
  • Be randomized into either Intervention or Control Group
  • Complete 3 on-line surveys over an 8-week period
  • View a two-hour online training session (Intervention group only)

You may qualify if you:

  • Are a licensed health professional (RN, LPN, OT, PT, SW etc)
  • Work in a long-term care facility
  • Have access to a personal computer with a high speed Internet connection
  • Have an active email address

Note: All research activities will be completed over the Internet, with communication by email. Control group participants may access the training after the study concludes. Your privacy will be strictly protected. No mailing lists or sales involved.
