Fall 2013 LSU program...anyone else out there?!

Soooo they verified my new address earlier this morning. Do I be presumptuous and ask if I was accepted or denied, or just go with the flow? Haven't heard of anyone receiving alternate or denial letters. And based on the website anyone who's accepted their place have to respond to the acceptance letter with their deposit by Friday April 19th. This is just pure torture... For my sanity I'll assume the worst. If I got in awesome if I didn't ill be prepared.

Ok last update for now...called they verified that the 1ST WAVE OF LETTERS went out last week. She confirmed that there are another wave of letters going out however she didn't say when. Thanks to all the ppl who have been pushing me to call and not give up. I'll let you know if I hear anything!

Hey everyone who's already gotten acceptance letter, your deposit with confirmation has to be received by the school today correct? Just wondering how true that is. It makes me really worried because idk if the "2nd round of letters" will have any kind of deadline.

Yes! They have to be in by 4:30pm today. Have the second round went out yet? I think it would make more sense for the second round to go out after the 19th. That way if more spots became available after today they could offer them to other applicants. And anyone not offered an immediate spot could be put on a waiting list so that if anyone declines their acceptance from the second round of letters they will be given a spot.

No 2nd round of letters sent out yet that I know of. I would call but I feel like they're probably tired of ppl calling with questions. Trying not to be so anxious and let this run its course. It's driving me nuts though!!!!

Don't feel bad about being nervous, curious, and ready after 5 months to know if you got in! Don't feel bad at all. And while they're frustrated with the influx of questions and calls, I'm sure they understand too.

That being said, I got accepted but now I still feel nervous about starting! Orientation is so far away! And I don't know many people going yet!

I want to start meeting people on Facebook and stuff! Add me and we can make a group!

Yeah... I'm really nervous too about the program and orientation!!! I can't wait to meet everyone. Maybe once all the letters go out we can all do dinner or something.
