LSU CRNA 2016

Published

I just wanted to start a thread for everyone who is applying to LSU's CRNA program for the next year. I just applied and I'm waiting to hear back for an interview, and wanted to see if there was anyone else out there waiting.

Hey, was wondering how those accepted could get in contact with each other.

That would be a good idea :) Did you get accepted? We can start something perhaps? :)

I did, send me your info if you don't mind.

I was accepted too! I was put on the wait list and got the call 2 weeks ago!

Does anyone know what day we start? I can't get any answers when I call!!

i believe our first day is May 25th. Saw it on the academic calendar for summer 2016. Has anyone started a Facebook page?

They said they cannot confirm if the CRNA class starts on before or after that date. I just didn't know if someone had asked during their interview.

Oh ok.. Well hopefully we receive some type of information packet soon.

Anyone from Louisiana know what information needs to be sent to Mississippi for their license. I can't find the form to fill out that needs to be notarized and attatch the 2x2 passport and also the form for authorization to release information. I called today and left a message but have not received a call back yet. Anyone completed this? I need help!

I also have a question regarding licensure. I have already applied for the Louisiana RN license--which FYI, I called the lady at the office on Friday and currently they're processing applications from mid-November so she told me to be patient, haha! But for the second requirement regarding a Mississippi RN license, does having a license from another compact state fulfill this requirement? It sort of reads that way but I want to be sure. I've left a voicemail at the nursing office but haven't received a call back. Just wondering if y'all might have an answer.

Also I'd love to start a FB group if anyone is interested? Let me know!

It should fulfill that requirement. My nursing license is from a compact state( Texas) and they were ok with it.
