LSU BSN

Published

Hi everybody,

Im new to this site and could really use some advice. Im starting LSU traditional BSN program. Was wondering if anyone has any advice about what to expect and what I should do to prepare. Also if anyone is actually a student at LSU that would help or if they are starting in the Fall as well.

I called today and they told me they mailed all the "acceptance" letters on Monday. She did not say when the denied letters are mailed.

she could only tell me if they had the right address, could not give me any info if I was accepted or not. but acceptance letters went out Monday. I live on the Northshore and was told that I should have received it the next day by the post office. they send it to the permanent address listed according to ss number

so if they can't tell us any info, I guess it's still just a waiting game.

Maybe they're waiting to send the denial letters to see if any accepted people deny their spot.

I wonder when we'll know something else.

trying to stay positive! :)

Anyone have news today?

I got an email from housing, but that is about it for now

Hi, I applied to LSU Nursing School for Spring 2011 as well. I haven't received anything yet but I checked on the United States Postal Service website and it said mail can take up to 9 days in state to be delivered.

Trying to stay optimistic!

Good Luck everyone!

I received no e-mail on housing as of yet. They told me that I should hear from them sometime next week. For those of you that haven't received any type of responses, try and stay positive. I'm sure it is on its way

I got an email about housing also. Do you know when we need to turn in our deposits? The office didnt answer when I called.

What information did yall get for housing? I think all that's available is two bedroom apartments at residence hall and dorm suites at stainslaus hall. My question is with the two bedroom apartment is that something that you share with someone else? The same with dorm suite is that single or double occupancy?

After I turned in my application for housing they told me to wait until the end of the month for the availablity. They just sent me a list of the available rooms available, how much they were a month, and how much the security deposit is. They also said to turn it in asap. Yes you share the two bedroom with someone but you have separate leases. Stanislaus are single occupancy suites but you share a bathroom with your suitemate. They are the nicest housing the school offers.

Exactly... I'm going to new Orleans Tuesday to take a tour and put in my deposit

Thanks lsufan for the info. The rent for the two bedroom is 533 I believe. So that's would be split between 2 people right? I'm gonna go down there this week.
