LSU BSN Fall 2017

Published

Hello,

I will be applying to the LSU BSN program for the fall of 2017. I know that it is early, but I wanted to get an early start on the application process. I also wanted to reach out to other people who are also applying to this program for the same class. Does anyone know when the application will open (since its due in Jan. 2017)? Does anyone have any study tips for the application?

Hey. How did it go?

It was great! really relaxed. I was only there for about an hour

Did they say how many people applied? And was the topic easy?

no they didn't say anything about numbers, just what to expect in the next couple of weeks. and yeah the topic was super easy. and you get to type it on Word. so don't stress about it.

Ok cool! I'm excited

I had a lot of fun, and i'm looking foward to hopefully starting classes in the Fall. they said we would hear something definitely by mid april.

That's much longer than last time. But the student that gave us the tour said about 152 people applied and they're picking 104

I hoping they mean that by Mid-April the last of the letters would be sent out.

And thats a lot less than I thought there would be. I anticipated there being closer to 200 applicants.

I've also heard that 300 have applied and they're taking 100....

Well someone doesn't know what they're talking about lol but I seriously doubt 300 people applied. I have never heard of such a large number of applicants especially since the requirements have risen

I think maybe 300 applied, and 154 qualified for the interview and essay.

That sounds about right
