LSU BSN Fall 2014 Semester

Hey everyone! I was a spring 2014 applicant, I received an alternate letter so I am crossing my fingers I have better luck this semester! I know everyone probably feels like a huge weight is lifted off their shoulders as today was the application deadline. But now the nervousness is kicking in! I created this thread because I figured we all need the moral support - or at least I know I do lol! I hope I can be of help to anyone who may have questions as far as interviews and the time frame of this process! Good Luck to all of you!! :)

I'm glad to see there is someone else from out of state! I live in the Northwest so I'll probably be one of the last to receive a letter, so let us know when y'all get your letters!! I hate all this waiting, it is driving me nuts!

This is my second time applying to Lsu i received a alternate letter for Fall 2013. I also applied to LSU and Charity and hope we get the letters before the 16th when the Charity application is due. If not I may have to pay two application fees for the Louisiana nursing board. I was hoping they could transfer a student from one institution to another, but you have to redo the application and pay another fee after the first one you submitted processes.

Great news!!! I just called student affairs and they said the letters went out yesterday. So within the next week everyone should hear something. I wish everyone the best of luck!!!

Yeah, this semester I'm enrolled into microbiology.

I'm also taking abnormal psych this semester, and I took statistics last semester.

I also Got My ACCEPTANCE LETTER TODAY!!!! Just to be sure though, did yours say Congrats....... provisional. I wasn't sure what provisional meant! But it says a whole congrats in the front! And acceptance at the botton, with the accpetance form! But the whole provisional thing threw me off.

Provisional means that your acceptance is contingent on whether or not you proceed to maintain the requirements for entering. For example, I'm taking microbiology. If I fail the class, my acceptance may be revoked being that it's a prerequisite.
