Hey everyone! I was a spring 2014 applicant, I received an alternate letter so I am crossing my fingers I have better luck this semester! I know everyone probably feels like a huge weight is lifted off their shoulders as today was the application deadline. But now the nervousness is kicking in! I created this thread because I figured we all need the moral support - or at least I know I do lol! I hope I can be of help to anyone who may have questions as far as interviews and the time frame of this process! Good Luck to all of you!! :)
Okay, I'm starting to freak out as finals week creeps up and my GPA is at its most vulnerable! Are there any tips that those who have gotten accepted or just know the process have to offer? Is volunteering at a hospital pivotal prior to applying? I'm so nervous! Congrats to everyone who got in by the way!
Hello everyone and congrats on getting in! I'm currently just completing my soph1 year at LSUHSC. I have a couple of items that I am willing to donate if anyone is interested: 2 sets of anatomy flashcards, Vander's Human Physiology textbook. The textbook is the international edition but it is exactly the same as the american edition. I had no problems with it. There is some highlighting in a couple of the chapters ( not like whole pages of highlights, just key phrases). I know textbooks can get super expensive so if anyone is interested, let me know! Get ready for a wild ride! You will love it! They will try to scare you at orientation and tell you stories about all the people who failed, but DON'T buy into it! You will be fine.
