LSU BSN Fall 2014 Semester

Hey everyone! I was a spring 2014 applicant, I received an alternate letter so I am crossing my fingers I have better luck this semester! I know everyone probably feels like a huge weight is lifted off their shoulders as today was the application deadline. But now the nervousness is kicking in! I created this thread because I figured we all need the moral support - or at least I know I do lol! I hope I can be of help to anyone who may have questions as far as interviews and the time frame of this process! Good Luck to all of you!! ;):)

i was a spring 2014 applicant as well. My advice is to relax. Last semester I was very stressed out. My check has not been cashed either. It usually takes a couple of weeks for them to do so. I do hope most of us will be able to have the chance to get an interview. I was very nervous when I had my interview for Spring 2014, but like someone else said, you just have to be yourself.

I'm pretty sure, if you meet all the reqs.

not everyone gets one. they said nearly 300 applicants applied for spring 2014, and only 160 got an interview. Each semester there is a class of 100 accepted.

OMGOODNESS!!!! how'd you find out about the applicant ratios?

I just called. The guy said, "all qualifying applicants will get an interview". He said they should be emailing those applicants within the next 2 or 3 weeks. Those with something missing from their application will get letters in the mail stating the thing that was missing.

Anyone already have a degree in one of the sciences and is applying for either the first or second time?

Has anyone heard anything more from LSU ?? Aren't we supposed to hear about interview sometime next week ??
