I asked EC this question, and I believe the anwer I got was we don't have to interpret wave form patterns but we do need to know the various dysrhythmias, meds, interventions etc.

Thank goodness! While studying, I was wondering how to remember what d/o has tall, long, short, extended, etc forms..... that part was overwhelming me! Thank you for the info Loopz. I do read the EPN and find some posts helpful. I thought I saw that ? on there- maybe that was yOU!

What exams do you have left if any? TIA

I think there are two posts right now on wave forms, and mine was the 12 lead question on EPN. I was looking up apps for my iphone to aide in trying to memorize these but I guess not needed now. I do believe we need to be able to read them for NCLEX though, and they are in my Saunder's review book.

I have LS1, LS2 and LS3 and transitions left. I am getting very close for taking this exam, if I can get a date for Feb 25 I will probably test then. Hoping to do LS2 & 3 in March.

Good luck and let me know how it goes! I have LS1, 2, and 3 left. I am hoping to take LS1 by end- more like beginning of march. Transitions was not bad- seemed a lot like review of common sense activities. Im sure you will do well!!
