hey everyone!! i have been studying ls1 for about 5 weeks now. there is so much!! i took practice exam a about a week and a half into studying and made a 52.... terrible i know!!tonight i just finished my practice exam b and made a 61. i am completely unsure if this is a good score for the ls1 exam or not. again there is soo much on this exam and i get nervous prior to all my exams.... "am i prepped enough? what if i fail? what if this- what if that?" lol i have the 3 ls tests left to take. let me say too that for most of my practice exams i usually score in 60s/70s and make b's. but, the ls exams are different as you all know and i really want to do well!!
any feedback would be great.... you guys all rock here and are so supportive too!
btw- how in the world do some people study these ls exams for a few weeks and pass? boy i feel behind!! lol
i took my ls1 exam a week ago last friday. i took 2 months to prepare for that one, but i had a bundle of things going on at home. i scored 70 on the practice exams and got an a on the actual test. this exam was a little more complex, i took more time with each question. i was really shot after the exam, lol. make sure you have your interventions down, lots of priority nursing. good luck! i have been doing ls2 for 8 hours a day, hoping to test april 1!!
Congrats! Also what did you use to study?
I use Saunders and the EC outline. I do a LOT of googling of diseases and animations to help me understand them better. I also have Arends and SG101 notes, but I skim over those. I write all my notes out in a notebook, then go back through with a highlighter and just read and reread. My practice exams are usually in the 60s/70s. Makes me wonder--- whats the highest someones received on the practice exams?? I test on monday for LS1.... lots of praying going on!!! lol
This is the one I read lots of people using. I bought it about a year ago and it really breaks it down for you and asks similar style questions. I picked it up from barnes and nobles one day for around $20. It's one of those nursing books Illl always keep and refer back to.

What way was it "more complex"? How long do you study before you test? I dont know that I could study 8 hrs a day straight!! I'd need a few breaks!! lol
