Specializes in LTC, Urgent Care.

In southcentral PA there are no positions for LPNs in the hospitals. It's either LTC, homehealth, doctors office or hospice

Hi, this LPN deal must be everywhere. I have been an LPN since 1985, lost my job in the OR a year ago, in RN school now, but at 48..it's tough for me..so if you have the chance go to RN school..Have a great day & be blessed. I am from Alabama

do you know how much a new LPN grad makes in the ephrata area?

I work 3rd floor med/surg at DRMC. They are now in the process of making LPN's primary's. We will have to do head-to-toe assessment's and chart them. Right now we pass med's, do procedures, change patients, etc. They are giving us more responsibilities. They just opened 2 positions for LPN's in the GI Lab, and LPN's work in Dr. Office's, LTC and HH. Starting rate is around $10 in Dr. office's, $13 in LTC and hospital and about $17 in HH. Good Luck! Chrissy

Specializes in Med-Surg.

I'm a recent grad in S.C. Pa, the hospitals aren't hiring except Hershey and that's for the clinics. I got a job in peds homecare, good money and great work. There's a lot of openings, even got one of my clasmates to come over.
