StrugglingLPN

Hi everyone. I am an LPN working as a sub for special education. I would really like to work in a school nurse role in any capacity. I like working with special education but would like to work with children who can talk and communicate with me. In my area some schools hire LPN's in their school offices. They hardly ever have openings.
I have been looking for openings for 4 months and just applied to one! I hope they call. Just wondering if there are other LPN's out there who work in a school. How do I get into a school supportive role that is not caring 1:1? Is there anything I can do to help acheive my goals?
Any advice would be helpful, thanks.

I think you're on the right track. Apply, sub, make yourself available.
