The general consensus seems to be the College Net. is a middleman that can be cut out by applying directly to Excelsior College. Either way is legit and will get you your RN. Many EC students post on the distance learning forum, where I'm going to move this post. Take the time to read some of it and hopefully someone will come along and answer your questions.

Many of us here are getting our LPN-RN through Excelsior College. The College Network is a publishing company that is not endorsed by Excelsior College, nor is it a college.

If you go through The College Network you would end up paying ALOT more money than is necessary.

Read through the threads, you can see why many of us have bypassed the middle man and went straight for the big dog.
