LPN at TCAT Dickson(Clarksville)

I got accepted into TCAT Clarksville, anyone else starting Sept 2nd? I'm nervous about being away from my daughter all day. But I'm excited to be getting into the career I love.

Tcat Clarksville doesn't do federal loans but they do let you apply for fasfa to get grants and there's also a lottery for Tennessee residents

None of the TCAT locations do student loans (sucks for me). If you don't qualify for financial aid or WIA you have to pay out of pocket.

I just graduated from TCAT Dickson-Clarksville Campus in Aug. We had a change of instructors as you might already know but don't worry, the teachers are great! As you know since you have been in there for a few weeks it takes a lot of time to study. If you see this and have any other questions let me know. I found out today I passed the NCLEX :D

So I am going to apply to the LPN program at TCAT Dickson in May for the Fall 2015.I currently go to a University and I'm taking my pre-reqs for nursing( anatomy and all of the good stuff). My question is that if i get accepted in to the LPN program at TCAT Dickson will I still have to take their anatomy course even though I have already revieved credit at the University?

Yes you will. I took A and P at a university as well to bridge when I finish the LPN program, but I still had to take A and P at TCAT. It really helped me to have taken it though!

I recently just recieved my acceptance letter for tcat dickson nursing. I was wondering how was the program overall and do you have any tips or must haves i may need for this program... Thank you in advance..
