LPN schools in NYC area 2020

Hello everyone, I’m currently looking for a LPN program to attend to. The schools I pick was Hunter business, AMG and veeb so far all the schools require an entrance exam. Which program is better? Which one have a higher passing nclex rate? Any information about these schools will be great or if you have another school you know about you can also let me know and I’ll look into it ?

@PNGrad2001 thanks for replying! How was hunter Lpn program? Do you have any info on the teas exam and what to study?

I had no issues with hunter. I went to school studied,mind my business. All schools have their high and lows stay away from the nonsense or any drama. I never stayed after school I would be the first one out the door and off to my car to go home and studied. That's what worked for me everyone is different. I think now they're using Teas 6 I think I took the 5. Fractions, decimals, %, addition subs you can use the computer calculator. Science lots of A&P but basics (that's all I remember) what helped me was youtube videos like crash course, khan academy, registeredRN

@PNGrad2001 thank you so much for the information. Yes the lady Jada told me it’s teas 6 now and I will do what you said use YouTube and Khan Academy. I just want to get into a Lpn program and do what I have to and go home lol. Again thanks for the info ?

Am currently a student at AMG, in my opinion this school is hard, but if you put in the work it can be done.

Hello @Folashade thanks for replying I took the exam at AMG and I did not pass the entrance exam I am looking into other schools

I had a 72

the computer will give you your score right away

I did veeb. great school 5 hours a day, if you study you can make it

Oh congrats, is it still 11 month's? Just be on time, wear your uniform and form good study groups. The teachers know their stuff
