hi my name is david and im am interested in becommingan lpn im am currently a Cerfited nurses aid in buffalo ny and i am wording how tough the course is and wher is the best place in buffalo ny to go and take lpn courses.
It's up to you and only you. I want to wish you the best. If LPN is what you want to do, go for it. I would ask people what they think and then you make the final decision. What might be right or wrong for someone else, might not be the same for you. Things are only hard, if you make them hard. All I can say is to put one foot in front of the other and do what it is that you want to do.
my class just graduated also....Nov 29, 2005..hey!..1 month ago today..LOL.my class began on Jan 18th, graduated Nov 29th. they also have another F/T class that begins in Sept along with 2 part-time classes that i believe are 18 months long.
as i stated before, we also had to pay for the licensure and nclex fee ($135 + $200 totaling $335). i am currently awaiting my Authorization To Test so i can get a date for the test ASAP (should get it within the next 2 weeks) and i will go to Albany for the test.
I think it might be longer than 2 weeks, it took a month and a half for me to get everything I needed from them. First they send you a paper that they recieved your information, then like 3 weeks later they send you your att, wow u have to go all the way to albany? Theres no where closer to you? Thats cool that you only had to go for 10 months, ours was a whole year and let me tell you it was a year of hell, lol Im pretty sure the program you went to was more organized than mine. They changed rules like they changed clothes. Im so glad im outta there. Well good luck on your boards. I just took mine the 22 and found out I passed on Christmas eve. My test consisted more on questions about the nursing process, nothing that I studied for was on there so make sure you cover everything!
hi i started the LPN program in sept, i have had a baby, been in a car accident and been hospitalized 2 other times since then, so all my absences have been excused with documentation...now today we have a ton of snow and I am unable to get my daughter to daycare and I am freaking out because I need to stay home...my teachers have been very understanding so far but I am tired of missing class and I dont know whats going to happen, if anybody could offer me any advice or information please post here, thank you sooo much! I am very nervous. I have good grades and this is my first un excused absence. thankyou!
