are there any LPN school programs around pittsburgh

Published

The only places I found where the Pittsburgh technical Institute and all the way up in beaver county Community College of Beaver County. I know UPMC St Margaret had a 1 year LPN Program but I cant seem to find it anywhere on the internet. Is there any other places that has them. How come there are not that many LPN programs around.

I asked the same question before and these are the responses I got:

St.margarets closed their LPN program in 2012. CCAC does not offer LPN. There is PTI in Robison. But it is a private school and cost $$$$$.

But there are 2 really really hidden LPN schools one is in monroeville (greater johnstown career and technology center) and another is in Jefferson Hills (Steel Center Area Vocational Technical School)

Lenape in Ford City has a full time and part time program.

I think the reason there aren't many programs is that the call for higher education in nursing is having more students attempt to get ad least a ADN because the LPN programs usually cost just as much as ADN or diploma programs.

Google PA state board of nursing schools and you will be taken to the website and then will be able to download a list of approved programs.

Thank you for your response.
